Wells Rural Electric Company has headquarters in Wells, Nevada and offices in West Wendover, Nevada and Carlin, Nevada. WREC Provides electrical service to over 10,000 square miles, in northeastern Nevada and part of Tooele County in Utah. With 1,385 miles of line WREC's service territory includes Wells, Wendover, West Wendover and Carlin as well as many ranching communities and mining operations.

Currently WREC has over 5,500 active accounts. A system peak 105.41 megawatts was set in
December, 2007.

Vernon Dalton presides over the eleven member Board of Directors and Clay R. Fitch serves as Chief Executive Officer
