Home"Is there anything else WREC does to increase system reliability?" Tree trimming is necessary even though it is not always the most popular form of maintenance. We trim trees throughout our entire service territory every summer. This benefits us the most in the spring when foilage is growing rapidly and the weight of a heavy spring snow can cause limbs to sag into power lines. This is not an exact science and we are still dealing with Mother Nature's different elements, but without proper annual maintenance on our system, we would not have as reliable of a system as we do. |
