Home"What if my home is not electrically heated, do I still qualify for any rebates?" YES! Regardless of what heat source you have in your home WREC offers rebates on Energy Star appliances, Marathon water heaters, and the recycling of old refrigerators & freezers. We offer a $50.00 rebate for New Energy Star refrigerators and/or freezers and dishwashers. We also offer a $70 rebate when you purchase an Energy Star clothes washer. WREC stocks a variety of Marathon water heater sizes because Marathon’s are one of the most efficient water heaters available. Unfortunately, making a water heater that efficient also increases the up front cost so we offer a $100.00 rebate off the price and we have financing options available. One of the new programs we are working on is the old, inefficient refrigerator/freezer recycling program. We are currently working out the details with the city of West Wendover, NV and will be working with Wendover, UT to begin offering a rebate for the removal, recycling, and decommissioning of inefficient but working refrigerators/freezers. The only requirement is that they are working units and that they are of at least 10 cubic feet in size which is almost all regularly sized units. |
